and we are involved in the counselling of the residents.
This course provides
counsellors with knowledge and skills to work with clients who
need anger management.

COUNSELLING
(Duration of
course: 8 hours – 2 half days)
This course focuses on developing specific skills to assist
adolescents through what can be a very confusing, challenging
and sometimes emotionally taxing stage of life. It is most
relevant to teachers, educators, and lay counsellors working
with youth for example in schools and religious institutions.

Non perishables such as milk
powder, baby formula, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar etc. Please
ensure that tinned goods do not require tin openers.

TODDLER
TAMING
(18MONTHS – 5 YEARS OLD)
(Duration
: 6 weekly sessions of 2 hours each)
This course
is for parents of toddlers aged between 18 months - 4 years. The course
will cover such topics as common stresses of parenting toddlers, useful
techniques for getting toddlers co-operation, and maintaining the couple
relationship.
S.T.E.P. JUNIOR (SYSTEMATIC TRAINING FOR EFFECTIVE PARENTING)
(6 – 12 YEARS OLD)
(Duration : 4 weekly
sessions of 2 hours each)
This group caters for parents of children aged between 5 - 12 years who
wish to enhance their relationships with their children. It focuses on
a democratic style of parenting. It teaches parents positive ways to
relate to discipline and how to encourage their children. It is based
on principles of mutual respect and equality. It gives a practical,
step by step approach to parenting.
