     Parenting - REMARRIED FAMILIES

IIn a re-married or step family one of the two adults is not the biological parent. Some of the unrealistic expectations of these blended families are that the nuclear family will be recreated and that the love between the remarrying parents is enough to produce co-operation and happiness for everybody in the family.

With professional help and support the extended step family relationships can be built and strengthened enough to bring harmony and goodwill among the members.
